Well hello friends. Today I'm down in Sydney having arrived this morning. Behind me there is the harbour bridge and a tall ship. I'm in a place called The Rocks which is under what is now the harbour bridge. Looking around here you can see some of the historic buildings behind me there. A lot of these buildings were built back in the 1700s to 1800s so they are some of the oldest buildings you'd get anywhere here. The modern city has been built up around it. The buildings are all around here and back there is the modern cruise terminal and there are some apartment buildings. This was the orginal area that was settled back in 1788.
I'm just exploring Sydney today and tomorrow I will be heading further south so I'll leave you here. Thanks friends for joining me again today and I'm going to catch you somewhere else tomorrow. Until then, ciao for now.
