Hello friends. This morning I have come across the harbour to Devonport and I'm now climbing Mount Victoria. I'm near the summit but there is a really good view from here looking across to the city, the military base and the Auckland Harbour Bridge. It is a very beautiful view from up here. Today I'm exploring Devonport and then going back into the city to do some more exploring there, doing some local exploring around this area. Hello friends, I'm now up in the Auckland Skytower way above the city. Looking over there across the harbour you can just see Mount Victoria and apart from that there's the city and out towards the harbour bridge and the harbour. I'm now standing on 38 millimetre thick glass and about 175 metres below me is the street so hopefully it will hold me. I watched this tower being built when I was living here back in 1995 and it has been standing here ever since. I did go up in in 1999 at the start of a trip over here. Anyway I thought I'd come up here again to watch the sun set over the harbour. Thanks friends for joining me again today, and I'll catch you somewhere else here in New Zealand tomorrow.
