Introduction to today's journey
Today's journey takes me into the middle of modern Bangkok, which I explore before riding on a tuk tuk back to the hotel. From there I head across the city to the main airport before flying across to Kota Kinabalu in the evening.

I follow an elaborate walkway heading up to the elevated tram line. |

Little buses and tuk tuks run along the busy streets. I take one of the tuk tuks back to the hotel. |

From the hotel I'm taken to Bangkok's main airport. The terminal is a huge cylinder. |

I await at the gate for my flight into Borneo. |

Flying over southern Thailand on my way to Brunei, quickly followed by a short late evening flight up to Kota Kinabalu. |
