Introduction to today's journey
Today's journey takes me into Singapore's Changi airport where I explore for a few hours before catching my flight up to Beijing, where I arrive in the early evening.

Arriving in at Changi Airport in Singapore in the small hours of the morning. Eventually the first light of dawn appears through the bright lights of the airport. |

Taking off from Singapore, the sky is initially thick with cloud, but as we approach China, the sky begins to clear showing some islands just offshore from the continent. |

The sun spectacularly sets between the layers of cloud over the world's largest continent which I'm soon to cross. |

Flying over vast constellations of cities for well over an hour before landing in Beijing and heading through customs, heading into the city in the late evening. |
