Introduction to today's journey
Today's journey takes me from Kampala to Entebbe Airport, from where I fly to Nairobi for a long layover before catching a plane towards Dubai.

I leave Kampala just before first light heading to Entebbe Airport to begin my very long journey home. |

Flying over the shallows of Lake Victoria at the start of the first leg to Nairobi Airport. |

Flying between the layers of cloud as we approach western Kenya. |

The sky is clear between the layers of cloud. |

The land is hidden below the thick layer of low and medium cloud as the high cloud begins to clear. |

There are a few breaks in the cloud with glimpses into the rift valley below. |

The low cloud covers again as we begin the descent into Nairobi. |

Nairobi Airport isn't the most exciting place to spend a 13 hour layover. |

Fortunately late in the evening I board my flight heading back up to Dubai. The dinner is nice and the long layover is quickly forgotten. |
