Well hello everyone. Today I'm heading down the opposite side of Swan River to recent walks I've done in recent days. I started at Guildford and making my way downstream to Perth city. It is interesting to see how different it is on this side. It is a bit more peaceful and there's more parkland on this side and the trail is about the same as well. It is quite good quality.
I'm now at one of the lookouts above the river. Looking out in this direction the city is not too far off now. It's been another nice long walk on a warm day. The tide is actually in now. The river is quite interesting because the tide only comes in once a day as opposed to twice a day as most places do. I'm not sure what it is, but the tide is starting to go out now. It's been in flooding all the banks over there. I'm going to keep going and I'll do at least one more video on the way out.
It is almost sunset now and I've now reached the Boorloo Bridge. This is a brand new bridge that only opened a couple of weeks ago. It is a pedestrian and bike bridge. The lights are already on so it will be interesting walking across it a bit later. The sun is just about to set. I've walked all the way down from Guildford down this side of the river this time and it was close to twenty kilometres. I've just got to cross over the bridge and then head into the city which you can see in the distance just there. It is closer than it looks on the camera due to the wide angle. I've just got to walk into the city and that's the walk finished for today. I better get going.
Thanks for joining me today. Ciao for now.
